Why Verbier...

Verbier is the main resort in Switzerland’s largest ski area, the 4 Valleys. Thanks to its location on a sunny plateau, exciting ski terrain, beautiful views and a lively nightlife, it has long attracted a fun and sporty clientele. Easy access (two hours by car transfer to Geneva airport) has helped make the resort popular with the British, the Dutch, Scandinavians and the Swiss.

Nearly 100 lifts access more than 400km of runs, including some of the best lift-served high altitude off piste in the Alps. The slopes are varied and the scenery spectacular, and from the top of the ski area – Mont Fort, at 3,330m – the views reach as far as the Matterhorn and the Mont Blanc.

The challenging terrain on Verbier's doorstep has given rise to thrilling spectator events, from Xtreme Verbier (the finals of the Freeride World Tour) and the Verbier High Five (at which amateur skiers compete alongside world champions), to the Patrouille des Glaciers, a gruelling ski touring race from Zermatt.

Verbier has now opened its doors to home to an ambitious complex opened next door to the main Medran gondola. New shops, restaurants, a luxury Starwood hotel – W Verbier, plus bars and cafés have given a welcome new focus to a resort long heavy on exclusive private chalets. Further into the center of town the SLH hotel Cordée des Alpes has launched, which certainly has redefined alpine luxury.

Verbier offers a wealth of venues both on and off the mountain ensuring panoramic views of the alps making it a perfect venue for your next event.
